What does “foobar” or “foobarred” mean to you?
The original FUBAR means F***ed Up Beyond All Recognition. Don’t know about Foobar.

In actual use “foobar” can mean everything from “nothing”, through “whatever” to “anything at all” depending on context. Ie. it is a metasyntactic variable
“Foobarred” should then refer to anything that has had done “whatever” or “anything at all” to it. … or that it has been used as a metasyntactic variable:
“Barney got fobarred by being used as a generic example in class. How embarrasing!”
In ID’s Quake 4 it means fuck or fucked… but without the explicit language that would have increased their already high age recommendation.
