Does it look better or perform better if you make multiple terrains and stitch them together or if you just make one larger one? And will Terrain.SetNeighbors(left:Terrain, right:Terrain, etc):void actually stitch the terrains together to make them seamless.
What is the perks of having multiple terrains? Please help?
Multiple terrains allows culling so you only draw the terrain segments that are in view…saving lots of processing power.
With one giant terrain, if any piece of it is in view, you pay for drawing the entire thing…
Does setneighbors actually stitch the terrains together?
