What Transform.position returns?

Hi All,

I know it sounds silly but I really confused about what transform.position returns?

Does it return ceneter or pivot point of the game object in world coordinats?

I have a human character object that its pivot point and ceneter point (I toggle between the 2 in in editor ) are not the same one. The pivot point near its legs and center near its belly.

So what transfor.position returns?

The Transform.position returns the pivot of the GameObject.

It will have the same values that you see in the transform section of the inspector (and these don’t change when you switch from pivot to center)
