I’m trying to follow a tutorial that was created almost two years ago.
I started following it using the latest version and now that I’m halfway through it, I’m running into compatibility issues in spite of the automatic upgrades that Unity does.
So, should I start over using the version that was created back then and then do the upgrades to the latest version, or should I just try to power through it?
Grrr! I decided to download the version that this tutorial was made with (4.x), but I can’t find Mesh Filter in my components list when I try to create a gameobject. As a matter of fact, there aren’t hardly any components to choose from.
This is because when you downloaded it, you didn’t choose the Assets you wished to download with Unity. There are check boxes, along with the Unity Application its self, you need to check.
