Alright, so for my Unity projects i’m basically using a separate company from my consulting day job company and have been trying to come up with a name … finally, I have it: “bitgremlin”. It works well for me because i was able to get the singular and plural .com addresses for it.
Anyhow, the background is that my buddy and I have worked on a lot of contracts together and often there will be some issues where you “cannot reproduce” or a system crash and nobody can track down the cause. In days gone by pilots used to cite “gremlins” as causing unexplainable airplane malfunctions and so we took to calling these “mysterious” bugs a case of the “bit gremlins”. You know, like a server is deployed and some wtf issue comes up in production, “yep, bit gremlins at it again!”.
It just seems a cool name to me, "bit’ to imply software components / building blocks / pieces … while “gremlin” might imply mischevous / playful / game.
