What's the propper way to export Audio from a timeline?

So if I use the Timeline to make a movie I can use the “Generic Frame Recorder” from Github to export a frame sequence, and then I import that to any video package like After Effects and convert it to video.

But how do I get the Audio out of Unity?

Shouldn’t the Recorder have an option to also export an audio file of the same lenght that the frame sequence exported? (or better yet have an option to put it together and make a video file)

What’s the propper way to have my audio mixing out unity?

Export video and convert it into audio file/extract audio from the video.

But I CANT export to video, if I could then I wouldn’t have any problem at all.

I can ONLY export as an Image Sequence, and Images have no Audio… I have no way to take the audio out of Unity.

I want to be able to make a movie file complete with Audio and Image combined.

I don’t care if I have to export the audio and the images separately and then put them together in After Effects or Premiere… but I don’t know how to get the audio out from Unity.

Are you using the latest release from github or from the asset store?

Update: I’ve sent you the fix on your Github issue page.

Audio export functionality was apparently added and should be available as of 2017.3+

With this you will be able to export an mp4 with audio from Timeline
