What's up with the scripting reference?

Hey guys,

I have been having some issues with the scripting reference lately. Here’s what happens:

I click on any class which loads up the page, which shows me its description and variables. Now I want to find out more about a variable from this class, so I leftclick on the variablename which brings me to the page of the variable. This works as intended, however:

If being on the class page, I decide to check several variables, I click on the links with my mousewheel, which opens them up in background tabs. What happens now is that instead of loading the variable pages, the browser loads up the same class page again. Noteworthy is that when hovering over a link, the status bar of my browser which displays the href tag of the link, shows the url of the page I am currently on. Here’s a screenshot to display it, note the page I am on on top, the link my mouse is hovering on, and the href tag in the status bar on the bottom:

Happens both in Opera and Chrome on Win 7. Anybody else? Known issue?

It’s likely due to it using Javascript redirects for navigation rather than typical anchor tags. As such it would be classed as intended (if annoying) functionality rather than a bug.

If I understand you correctly (chances of which are slim since I have no idea about web code), shouldn’t disabling java in the browser solve the issue? Because that’s not the case unfortunately.

(im using custom monkeyscript to open links with middle mouse button in firefox…and it fixes the page titles also)

That actually helps, thanks. Shiftclick does override the whole thing and still opens in background.
