Mmo’s have been a bit of a hot topic lately heh so it would be interesting to know what is your dream mmo. It can be anything, an existing one, one that you would like to make or one that you wish someone else would make because you can never fully play your own game the same way if someone else made it 
For me it would be a cross between eve and star trek online…the ship part anyway.
Imagine an open world starship mmo like eve but based on the star trek universe. Unlike star trek online only have the ship part as the crew sections suck 
. In this game you pick your starting background, either by joining one of the AI factions(Federation/Klingon/Romulan etc) or by going independent picking your race getting a starter ship, some gold pressed latinum and kicking you out into the bad lands between the factions to fend for yourself like eve. If you decide to join one of the factions you do not need gold pressed latinum your given a rank and you complete missions to increases your rank and get assigned better ships and equipment, lose your ship and its very easy to get demoted to smaller ships.
The difference from eve is that the AI factions are actually controlled by an AI one for each faction, these AI’s don’t interact directly they have to rely on the players in there faction and/or npcs if no players are available or gather intelligence, do missions gather resources and so on. These factions actually compete against each other for territory and resources but the AI’s can also react to the independent players, if some of them start raiding or taking resources from that factions area without permission the AI can set mission quests for faction players to go to that area and remove the independents.
As for the independents they can gain representation with the different factions or the Ferengi Alliance and get new ships and equipment like how it works with eve now. Basically a mixture of current mmos and the more freestyle eve model.
Despite what is released already this mmo is one that I would play like crazy
