Wheel Joint 2D - More spring, less wobble

Hey guys,
I’m using the new Wheel Joint 2D component to build a 2D car with wheels that I want to bounce a little when dropping off some terrain and landing on other terrain.

I have the car all setup and it works alright, but its very stiff. I can seem to make the car more bouncy on the joint between the body of the car and wheels by decreasing the “Frequency” property on the joint, but this also adds wobble horizontally to the joint.

I am wanting to keep the joint perfectly straight horizontally (never moving), but have lots of bounce vertically when the joint would normally be “compressed” from falling, etc.

Anyone have any tips of what I might change to get the affect I’m looking for?

You may want to try making a car without the wheel joint…
