When is the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 support coming? A few month ago you said it will be available short after Windows 8 launch. Hope very much that it’s coming soon and it would be really nice if we can get some more information about this.
My guess is not any time soon (if lucky a few months).
i takes quite a while to support a new platform (windows 8 has it strange requirements compared to the former windows versions).
Well… technically Windows 8 is totally supported - all Unity games (and Unity itself) run perfectly fine in the Windows 8 Desktop.
…but that’s not really what anybody cares about it, is it?
i know that the desktop of windows 8 is supported. but from a developer perspective the Windows Store is very interesting. maybe it’s coming in february. at the end of february unity will hold a conference for Unity 3D and Windows
