When the "Last Visit" on the "Latest Topics" updates?

The way I am using the discussions is to check Latest Topics every time I get to this site and then scroll all the topics until I see the Last Visit marker. It works ok if I do it after a long pause (let’s say a day) but if I visit the discussions few times a day, the Last Visit marker stays on the same position…

Is there a way to make it update more frequently? For example, if I visited discussions now and browsed all the Latest Topics and I come back after 2 hours, I want the Last Visit marker to be at exactly 2h timeframe.

I suppose it’s some cookie setting with some timeout, but can I set its behavior on my end or it’s something on the server side?

Any news on that? I too am affected by this behavior.

I think one of the main issues is that pinned posts from all different categories stay at the top forever in the latest topics, which doesn’t make sense. So you have to go full 1-2 page down to see actual latest posts. I hope they change this.

Oh, thanks! I think I just unpinned 40+ topics. They kept coming but finally ended lol.
