When would you leave BOTH precomputed and baked GI unchecked?

confused by at least one tutorial which suggests working with BOTH precomputed and baked GI unchecked. Doesn’t this mean you bypass Enlighten altogether? Would you ever do this for a final build?

AcidArrow, could you be a bit more specific? Is it strictly a quality or performance issue?

I’m not sure what you want to me to elaborate on.

You might not want to use Enlighten for GI. You might not even want GI at all. Or maybe you don’t even want lighting. Maybe you have your own shaders that use another system. Maybe it’s a 2D game!

There could be a gazillion reasons on why you’d want to bypass Enlighten.

It’s a “depends on what you want to do” issue.

Mobile. Where you only have a single realtime light AND you dont use the standard shader.
