where can I find resources for the new playable API introduced in 5.2? like all of it. I found the scripting docs but not the manual. I need all of the information I can get from it please. I just learned about it from boston unite archived and I’m interested to play with it. thank you
The state of the Playables manual page is this: we introduced it in 5.2, but since then the API has undergone a number of changes so the descriptions and example code on the playables page is outdated. It refers to API functions which no longer exist. I took the decision to remove the page from the current manual because it basically had misinformation and would only serve to add more confusion than if it didn’t exist.
I’ve been talking to the team responsible for playables just this week about getting that page updated, so hopefully we’ll have a new page very soon.

But like I said above, be aware that it contains references to functions that don’t exist in 5.3, and the example code will not work.

The examples are fixed, plus you can now download a unity project containing all the examples from that page.
