Where can i get music with free copyright?

hello, i need your help.
I want to put some music in my game but i have no enough money to buy the music’s copyright.
Where can i find some music with free copyright?

You’re using the wrong terminology, you can’t buy copyright, what you mean is you want music free for commercial purposes and with no royalty fees.

Try http://ccmixter.org/, they only require that you put their names in the credits of your game.

Kevin Macleod has royalty free music. But you have to credit him as well.

Actually you can buy copyright. And it could be sold. But I agree, OP probably wanted nonexclusive rights for use in commercial projects. Or public domain music.

Actually, you need to make sure the Creative Commons tag say it’s able to be used for commercial use. If it has the NC (Non-commercial) Logo on it, then you can’t use it in anything you would sell.

Also, I suggest Jamendo. As of this moment they have 41592 albums (and most albums will have more then one song). Also, a fair amount allow their use in commercial endeavors. Even if they don’t initially, you can make an offer, and say what your project is, and then it’s possible for you to get commercial rights for it even if it’s initially non-commercial. (online games seem to be the cheapest estimated cost according to their pro site.

Just my suggestion of a site. (On a side note, I also use jamendo as a free streaming service to listen to music. New music all the time. It even has an android app for streaming.)

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Most of what’s in ccmixter is free for commercial purposes though, just check to make sure. Some aren’t.
