Where can we post suggestions?

I wanted to suggest that in the Inspector panel, it could be made more obvious when we’re editing a Prefab or an instance of it that happens to be in the game window. I am always accidentally editing an instance when I meant to have selected a Prefab. If you put (Prefab) in brackets after the name when it’s a prefab it would be something to quickly check before beginning to change any values.

The inspector isn’t perhaps so explicit in labels, but there are key differences in UI between prefabs and prefab instances. Namely when you are editing an instance, you will see a row of prefab controls at the top of the inspector:

If you see that Prefab row of buttons you are editing an instance of the prefab. If you want to then edit the original prefab asset, simply press the Select button and the editor will select the prefab asset for editing.

Thanks I usually only notice them when it’s too late or almost too late and I get half the edits made to the instance and half to the prefab or something. So although there are some cues if I remember to look for them amongst the rest of the UI, nothing would be better than something noticeable in the name field, since I think it’s pretty instinctive to glance at the name field each time you select something. Or is it just me?
