Where did the demo go?

Hello,

I’m new to Unity, but i saw on some other tutorials that, when they open up unity 3d they have the demo island, why cant i get that?
Think i have the newest Unity since i downloaded it last night,

I was after the same. Apparently it is a very old demo. You can download this from: http://unity3d.com/support/old-resources/example-projects/islanddemo.

If you get compiler errors, Just comment out the affected lines which will result in ugly trees.

My Unity3 contains the IslandDemo per default! On my Mac I’ve got a Unity Folder in my Shared Docs Folder and there I’ve got “Bootcamp Demo” and “Island Demo”, both perfectly working.
