The official blog post said there would be a GUI editor in Unity4. I upgraded my Unity, but didn’t see this cool feature. What did I miss?
I think you miss read it:
I think they mean later as in after 4.0. It is going to come in the 4.x cycle though IIRC and the normal GUI is much faster now.
it’s not out yet, it will be out on a later unity 4 relase example 4.1 and so on
Note to OP: This does not guarantee it will come out in 4.1
No one knows when its coming out, I wouldn’t design your game around it .
