Where Is the Asset store downloading TO ??

I downloaded the gem shader from the Asset Store and now I notice when I make a new project the gem shader is listed twice on my make a new project options. It is NOT in the standard packages folder in Unity, So where is it at?

A hard drive search doesn’t even show where it is.

Its nowhere, its in the asset store and when you decide to install it, it will be downloaded and auto imported.

No, they are stored locally once downloaded. It would be silly if you had to re-download every time. On Mac, it’s ~/Library/Unity/Asset Store.

Oh you are indeed right.
On windows its in c:\users<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Unity\Asset Store

though I don’t see why I should keep an eye on that unless the appstore goes offline for some reason as just selecting it there and importing it is 10 times simpler and faster and always up to date

I travel and am offline alot Besides it listed the gem shader twice and I want to fix it.

EDIT: I just check in there and there isn’t a duplicate. But I remember accidentally clicking it twice. So now it shows up twice each time I start a new project. Wonder How I correct it?

I travel and use the macbook. Where I go, there isn’t internet access (relatives).
