where is the island demo on windows aspire?

i have an old windows aspire and downloaded unity yesterday.
i am eger to start but i am useing an old book and i whant to start from the beggining.

“Island” demo was, I think, Unity 2.x. Unity is currently well into Version 4.x and, if you try to follow along using an old book, you will quickly find yourself frustrated because many, many features have changed since then.
