Where is the Island Demo?

I downloaded 3.1 and no island demo. The book I am reading wants me to fiddle with that

The book you’re reading was made with Unity 2.6 in mind, Unity 3 doesn’t have the Island demo project.

I’m going to install 2.6 just for the purpose of this book. When I’m done, I’ll put 3.1 on my system.

I believe you can have both installed at the same time: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/69506-Unity-2.6-and-Unity-3-at-the-same-time
Although for learning purposes you have no real benefit of having both. But it’ll save you a future reinstall of Unity 3 :slight_smile:

Just be careful and DO NOT open the Island project with Unity 3, if you do it’ll try to convert the project and you will end up with something that doesn’t work.
