Where to find small teams to work with?

I am trying to get in forward with unity but creating a game alone is extremely awkward! And going to the Commercial Paid Jobs is more awkward and it always requires PROS. Where can I find small teams making games so I can get in with them and be able to create a game for first time and learn along?

Also look for Game Jams in your area, you might find people interested in continuing on projects there. Global Game Jam is just over, but Ludum Dare happens on a regular basis.
