Where can I download and purchase Unity 2.6? We will be adding additional developers to the project I am working on and would like to get them copies. It is not an option to upgrade my 2.6 project to 3.0 as many of the graphic changes in 3.0 are highly undesirable (crippled forward rendering, lack of antialiasing, etc…).
3.0 is better not worse and don’t buy 2.6 buy 3.0 there is nothing better in 2.6 its old. If you are intent on it then I would advise contacting the unity sales team or calling one of their offices as thats probably the best way though most likely you will hear “we no longer license unity 2.6.”
You’re talking about Pro right? Contact sales@unity3d and ask them. I’m sticking to 2.6.1 for all my existing projects (and possibly most of my new ones) until some of the major issues in 3.0 are ironed out.
You may be able to contact sales and they’ll give you 2.6.1 for any 3.0 licenses you get. I couldn’t see why not, anyway.
