I’m trying to buy this asset “Parrallax Space Background” for $3.50 off the asset store (inside Unity), I’m logged in, but there is no “Buy” button anywhere. It says the price, it has an “Add to wishlist” and “Add to package” buttons, but no buy button anywhere.
What kind of sillyness is this?? I’ve spent 10 minutes searching for a frickin’ buy button!
sigh Apparently if your current version of Unity doesn’t match the version used to upload the artwork they figured it’d make the most sense to just omit the “buy” button all together and let everyone use their engineering degrees to figure out where the button went.
There is a little message right underneath that tells you that your version of Unity is not compatible.
And think it through a little bit. It seems pretty obvious that the ´buy´ button was removed because a lot of people bought stuff that they then couldn´t use in their current version of Unity and demanded refunds or outraged on the forums. You know how silly people can be who rant about really common sense stuff…
