Which of these 2 laptops is not good for developing games in Unity?

I am thinking on developing puzzle games for mobile devices in Unity 3D and decided to buy a new laptop for this case!

The first one that I found is a very low budget and probably not that good at graphics, but like I said it’s very cheap and attractive.
And second which is a double priced and has a very good display on it, but still not confident of its graphic cause there are I know lots of gaming laptops that have a dedicated graphic card which by some personal reasons I don’t really like!
So please help to chose one!

I can tell you which is good. The Asus seems good.
Go to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ to check which graphics card is better.
Remember, you still won’t get as much power as a desktop, but Unity needs little power to begin with.

Well both of their specs are okay, but I would recommend the Asus simply because only Korea makes good laptops anymore. American and Japanese brands are packed with bloatware and the parts have a lot of planned obsolescence (they are made to break).

Other good Korean brands are Acer and Samsung, but Samsung is getting a little pricey these days.

That said, I would also recommend going anywhere other than Best Buy.

Their deals are terrible, they are a hassle to deal with if issues come up, and they hound you relentlessly.

Try NewEgg, Pricewatch, or Amazon. Hell even Walmart has some good deals every now and then.

Lastly refurbished laptops are also a great deal and can often save you tons of money for the same rig.

Ahhhh!
The ASUS laptop is the better one.

If you’re going to spend this kind of money on a laptop, you’re probably better off with an Apple laptop. Mainly because you need an Apple computer if you want to publish for OS X or iOS.

I second the Apple laptop idea. A MacBook Pro can dual boot Windows 8.1 and you will need it to develop and publish for OS X and iOS.

Thank you all guys, I now will be sticked with Apple tomorrow! Ha ha!

Hear that? I think a thousand neck-beards just cried out in agony all at once…

…I’m one of those neck-beards.
