I’m working on CityGen3D, which auto generates a 3D environment based on real world map data.
I hope to have a beta available in a few months, so although it’s not much help to you in the short term, I thought it worth mentioning in the thread in case you’d like to follow it’s progress.
CityGen3D has a thread in the Work In Progress forum, which includes a video of a simple street racing environment I created using CityGen3D and Edy’s Vehicle Physics Pro.
I’ve got lots planned for asset long term, but I’d also love to hear about what other developers and designers would like to see in a tool like this, to help shape its development.
