When building for Windows 10 Universal app I’m getting white rectangle right before unity splash screen.
I’ve tried setting up icons in build settings but it doesn’t go away.
I’ve tried Unity 5.4 and 5.5, personal edition. Happens on mobile and desktop.
Any ideas how to fix this?
It seems that on Windows Platform you get 2 splash screens.
First one is this, in player settings it’s “Splash Screen → Windows” section (applies to windows phone to, even thou there is separate section for windows phone). Then you get another splash screen with unity logo.
Correct. Set splash screen image in Player Settings and then you’ll see that image here.
The extended splash screen is in MainPage.xaml, you can edit that to your desire.
Where is the code for this in the D3D version, do not have MainPage.Xaml
D3D does not have an extended splash screen because there’s no XAML and there’s no way to display it other than rendering it through your scene. However, D3D apps load faster than XAML, so that should offset the difference. What issue are you seeing?
