Whoops, imported wrong file type.

I accidentally imported a .DAE file into a scene, and, of course, Unity crashed (2.6.1) Now, whenever I load that scene for editing, I get the following error in the console:
“Automatic import for ‘Assets/Textures/Props/***.DAE’ was disabled because the asset importer crashed on it last time.
You can Reimport the asset or rename it in the file manager to force reimporting it.”
I deleted the offending file, as it was no longer needed anyway,(We were using Torque for a while, but not anymore), however, the error still comes up. Any way to get rid of the notification? Not a big issue, just a nuisance I’d like to get rid of.

I had that happen to me. I clicked on “reimport” and just let it do its thing and it worked itself out.
