I wondered about the Unity logo I discovered when testing my game on a Windows machine (webplayer). I thought with buying the Indy version I could get rid of this little logo. I’ve seen a couple of threads already about this but so far no answer why just there is a logo in the windows version at all. And why is there a difference between Mac and Win? Makes using this space in games somewhat hard.
I’m not from UT (OTEE is history ), but I can say that there are no differences at all between the Indie version and the demo, aside from the time limit. The logo is there to differentiate Indie from Pro. One of the main attractions of Pro is Windows publishing, but doing a web player in Indie sort of gets around that in a way, since it runs on Windows. So putting a watermark in the game is a way of making sure Windows publishing isn’t quite 100% functional even as a web player in Indie.
