Why AddTorque and AddRelativeTorque are Weak?

With a default scene setup, and default sized objects (as created by Unity), it doesn’t seem to matter what values of torque I provide, the objects only ever spin at less than 60 RPM.

Why is this?

Is there a way to get objects (3D) to spin very fast, by adding torque?

Because the maximum angular velocity of a rigidbody is limited by default to 7 rad/s. You may increase this limit by configuring Rigidbody.maxAngularVelocity.
