Why are my sprites being distorted?

I made the sprites in Photoshopusing a brush of 1px and after I finished upscaled the sprites 300%. Here’s how they look in Photoshop:

And this is how they end up in Unity:


Although I may be able to fix this by making the sprites bigger, just for learning purposes, I’d like to know how I can avoid this problem again. Thank you :slight_smile:

This is because of your import settings. To me this looks like “Compressed” iOS settings.
Selecting truecolor will yield a full 32-bit rgba image.
