Why are you clamping the pivot from 0 to 1?

In the release notes for 5.2 beta 1, it says that pivots on sprites will be clamped from 0 to 1. Why is that considered an improvement? It’s limiting to force the pivot to be on the sprite’s defined rectangle.

I don’t have the beta yet so I can’t test this. Is this really the case? If yes, what’s the reasoning behind this change?

I agree it sounds pretty big change at this point of sprite history.

Yeah… please don’t do that. I alwas already annoyed that it was being clamped for UI purposes, it’ll be even more annoying for gameplay sprites.
