Why can't I Debug.Log Pi?

Before anything I am just going to say I am veeeeery new to Unity, and practically all I know what to do is create variables, functions, and use Debug.Log.

So in UnityScript, I typed in

#pragma strict

function Start () {

And then hit play… but nothing happened. I didn’t get anything in the console. Why not?

Is the file that contains this code attached to a game object? Or in other words, have you dragged and dropped the file containing this code onto any game object in the scene?

@Emite, your code works. You must have done something else wrong. Have you put that script on a gameobject in Hierarchy window of the scene?

This should work Debug.Log (Mathf.PI.ToString ());
and the output is 3.141593
