Why can't i see the UI in my prefab viewer window ?

Hello i have a simple prefab with a child object that is a canvas with a slider in it, but it doesn’t show in the prefab viewer when i open the preview, why is this ?

Do UI’s just not work for prefab viewer ?

In the game window or in the editor window it shows perfectly fine but in prefab view mode it doesn’t show anything.

Seems no matter what i do, UI just won’t show in prefab mode - even if the prefab is purely a canvas with UI and nothing else its just blank…
