Why does my character float slightly off the ground when moving?

I’m using a character controller. When I press play the character is on the ground properly, but as soon as I move she jumps up a little bit and stays in the air/off the ground.

In your Player Controller component, try to change the values on this image (cente, radius and height), there should be a collider on your character and this values are here to edit the size of it. The collider is maybe too much in the ground and this may be why your character stays in the air.
