I’m trying to use a gamepad to move the First Person Controller. The left joystick controls movement but the character slides slowly forwards. The right joystick controls aim/rotation but slowly moves upwards.
If I switch off the analog/digital button (to use the D-Pad for movement), it stops sliding forwards, but it keeps aiming up on its own because of the right stick.
Most likely due to the “null zone” being too small.
If the analogue sticks are not centered exactly then it will register as a desired movement in the direction the stick is pointing in.
The “null zone” provides an allowed amount of distance before the stick starts to register movement.
Where such a setting would be however I can’t say.
The blighter? I love that term and intend to use it now. Having such an international forum makes for some fun because we are exposed to different dialects.
