Why does the FPS Tutorial robot walk like a cross?

I’ve been following the official FPS Tutorial on Unity’s website, and I’ve gotten to the part where I have to put the robot in. When I do, the robot looks fine, but when I test the game, the robot walks like a cross instead of its animated shape. I’ve watched numerous videos with this, and they all had their robots moving in an animated pattern. What am I doing wrong?
