Anyone know why my shadow is looking weird on certain objects.
Looks fine on the terrain.
Its all pixelated
I found out this is being caused from using a point light. If I use a directional light the issue goes away but a point light is what I’m needing.
so no idea why I have this shadow issue.
I’m guessing that for point lights shadow maps have far lower resolution per game object.
Is there way to fix it?
Its pretty bad looking
Adjust some shadow values on the quality settings maybe should help.
I am going out on a limb here, but it might be the Enlighten system’s real time lighting UVs for those objects. In the Lighting window there is a tab for Object, that you can look at the attributes for the currently selected object. Look in there and see if changing scale in lightmap or maybe the Advanced Parameters to something better than Default. Again I’m guessing here because I’m still not fully knowledgeable on the Enlighten system. I think it uses UV resolutions for baked lighting and UV resolutions for real time lightmaps as well. This might be the real time lightmap producing jagged real time shadows because of UV scale being too low or quality setting being too low.
Also all of this aside you can adjust the Shadow Distance in the Quality Settings (lower it) and see if that enhances the resolution.
