Why iOS build is taking so long at the import lightmaps point

Hi,

I have a pb with compiling for iOS.

I have a walkthrough scene with 200+ lightmaps. At the building time Unity is taking 5 hours to simply import (and I guess resize) the lightmaps.

I think it is a bug, anyone knows a workaround ?

check the log in the process - most likely it is due to pvrtc compression (lightmaps defaults to best)

Tonight, I launched a built for Ipad, then I switched to MacOSX (2 minutes for converting, it is ok), then I reswitched to iOS and I went to bed one hour later while the progress bar were still at max 5%… and I bett for more a couple of hours.

Even with high compression. Does it appears normal to you a such long time ?
