One of the main selling points for Unity3D is that it’s supposed to create operational applications on both Windows and Macintosh. However, Mothead; one of the featured demos is crashing when I try to run it. Why is this?
I’m running:
OS: Mac OS 10.6 (Intel, 2 32-bit processors),
L2 Cache: 2MB,
Memory: 1GB,
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Are you running it in the editor? As a download? The machine might to too low a spec for it to be honest...
– whydoidoitWhat GPU does your mac have? Mothhead is a pretty high-end demo and needs a GPU with at least 1GB of memory. Since you say your machine has 1GB of system memory my guess is that you have a relatively old Mac so probably has an embedded GPU. As per the system requirements you will need a dedicated graphics card.
