Hi there,
I am just wondering why my transforms rotation is now in Quaternions?
It’s always in Quaternions and always has been. The inspector shows Euler angles, but these are only there for convenience - the rotation value is always stored and calculated as Quaternions.
Yes, but for conveince, I would like my editor to show Eulers. It now shows Quaternions.
Are you in Debug mode on that inspector perchance?
Hm. Will double check… Currently away from 'puter. Where do it check for that? Also, I opened another project, it is fine. This one contains a package, level imported via my client. So it must be something to do Irish the assets he sent, and I imported.
In the top right on the inspector, there’s a little drop down; it has (among other options) the choice between Normal and Debug modes.
Oh sweet.
Thanks.
Ok, no go. Did not work.
?? Totally puzzled.
Can you show us a screenshot of your inspector? o3o
Does it look like this?

If it looks like this, then change the settings from debug to normal.

If this doesn’t work, maybe it’s because a script overwriting the default Transform inspector code.
Start a new project and see if it still shows up as quaternions. By the way, what version of unity are you using?
