Why is my object getting stuck in the edge of other objects?

I have one cube that is affected by gravity. It starts off in the air and slowly drops onto the ground but when I try to move it with “w,a,s,d” controls it won’t move. However while in mid-air it still moves fine. I looked closer and the cube becomes caught / stuck in the grounds collider. Can anyone help?

Make Physics Material 2D and set its friction to 0. I think this will help. And maybe reduce Fixed Timestep at Edit => Project Settings => Time, or set collision detection to continuous.
