Why is there a different amount of particles at runtime?

Running a particle effect in game mode produces far less particles than the preview in the editor. Is it being capped somewhere?

I kind of solved it. It was a sub emitter thing. The thing is if you want to make a sub-emitter you MUST click the little + in the dropdown menu in the first particle menu to make it.

It won’t work if you click the big + near the top to make a new system, then assign it to the slot.
