Can anyone help please?
Can you show a picture?
What unity version are you on?
I believe this might happen when you’re using the educational license, you can a personal license to remove it.
The question is I am using personal license, I’ve never used educational license before.
This is completely false. The free personal license is available for commercial use.
Unity Personal
Eligibility: Unity Personal is for individuals, hobbyists, and small organizations with less than $100K of revenue or funds raised in the last 12 months.
Did you personally create the Project, using your personal license? Or did you open a project created by someone else?
That’s AI spambot^^ (check their other message)
There has been some versions before where the watermark appeared also (due to some bug),
so better report as a bug.
Does disabling development build help? (if its enabled)
What version of Unity are you using?
I think you can use a personal licence to get rid of it if you’re using the educational licence at the time.
I created the project from scratch.
Is this an editor version problem rather than an account problem?
Try creating a new project and/or removing all the ProjectSettings from your current project.
Good idea, I will create a new blank project and build it.
Sad, blank project still produce the watermark.
Then its either your environment (your PC (i.e. some config-files), your Unity-install, etc) or your account.
You might need to create a ticket with Unity’s support.
You’re right. It’s solved now, by Unity Support team, finally…
Thanks for your advice! and big thanks to the Unity Support team!
I’m running into exactly the same issue. What’s wrong with this Unity version? Or maybe it’s a license server problem?
Contact Unity Support.
Unity support help me solved the issue and several days later it happened again. And the method he told me does not work anymore. Really annoying.
Here’s what he told me to do:
1.Kill unity licensing client process;
2.Logout unity hub and quit;
3.Delete all files in C:\ProgramData\Unity (or Library/Application Support/Unity on Mac);
4.Restart unity hub, login, and recreate license.
These steps worked the first time, but this time they failed.
