Why should a change in one scene affects other scenes in a project?

Hi all;

I’m a newbie in unity. I’m doing a board game and in this game there is 3 difficulty levels. So I use a scenes for each level all in just one project. The board I used is the same in all three difficulty modes so I copy it to all three scenes. The board is a fbx model. But according to the differences in levels and action, the colors of some parts of the board is different in each scene. However, when I change the color in one scene it changes in two other scenes too. What should I do to change them without affecting other scenes?

You may have to create different prefabs for the different boards. You can learn about prefabs Here

Prefabs will allow you to change the properties of that Game Board without effecting the other Game Boards.
