Why suddenly scene become darker?

Just before I opened my working scene and did nothing for 2~3 hours watching movie.

But after I come back to scene, entire light become dimmer and darker. I didn’t touched anything.

How to restore this? I adjusted Directional Light’s intensity, but something strange, darker changed shadows seems different with before.

Slender Man? Serioulsy though, you could also check Window > Lighting > Settings. Or perhaps you accidentally changed the color of the light?

Sometimes Unity forgets the lighting calculation and the scene view look darker, but when you press the play button, the game is alright. To fix this:

  1. Go to your Lighting settings in Unity
  2. Scroll down to Debug Settings → Click on Generate Lighting

The problem should be fixed.

Is it possible that your OS/hardware/video player is trying to be smart and changed some settings?

Is it possible that you changed monitor settings and forgot? Or maybe just lighting in the room changed and image appears to be different?
