Why Total System Memory Usage is so high?

Hi everyone,

When testing on my android device, the profiler reports Total System Memory Usage very high 0.9G. Checking in the device, the memory consummation is 200MB. It’s also high (but not as much 0.9G)

What can cause Total System Memory Usage is so high? Do Unity is such heavy?

hey dude, sorry you didn’t get a reply on your question, i am suffering from this issue as well.

my issue is a little don’t know what is happening kind.

when i install my game, in the start the game loads without taking any time, but after some screen on and offs, it changes from no time to 10secs.

i am started to use profiler to debug and all look fine except 3.21GB Total system memory usage, i couldn’t find anything in the documentation. currently using Galaxy S8.
