Why unity ask me to log in to the editor again ? And why email to reset password never received ?

It’s not the first time the editor for some reason log me out and ask me to log in again.
I want to work online. So i tried my my email and password didn’t work so i tried like 5 times to send a reset to my password clicked on forgot password button. But it’s never got yet to my gmail i tried yesterday first time it’s almost over 24 hours and yet no email received.

What should i do ? Tried to log in with the password as i remember but it’s not working saying wrong email or password. Tried to recover my password but never received the email with the reset link.

Any ideas what can i do ? I can’t work with the editor.

Maybe double check your spam folder or bulk mail folder in your email, could just have been mistaken for a spam email, and moved automatically where you don’t see it.

I found the reset link email.

The problem was that i have some accounts of emails and i didn’t remember with wich one i registered to unity so when i entered my email it was saying that a reset link was sent but it comes out that it wasn’t the right email account. Now i entered my other email account and i found the reset email link.

But what is the idea that i can enter any email ? Unity should have a database or something so it will not send reset links to unregistered emails. I could even type: thisemailnotexistforsure@gmail.com and it will say that it was sent.

Well it simply would require too much extra work for the unity team to check each and every users email for whether or not it is still (or ever was) valid. Like most sites you can sign up for with an email address, they mostly just assume your telling them the correct information and make it your responsibility to ensure that it is valid, and this is why most sites have you enter your email more than once when you first register, to prevent you mistyping something (or perhaps by typing it twice you surely would realise your email is not thisemailnotexistforsure@gmail.com haha).

I would prefer they maximize the time they spend working on improving the unity engine and services!
