Why Unity Grass are so Heavy? 4k++ Draw Calls


Is there a way to otimize unity grass? I’m building a Main Menu with medium amount of zoom and add into map only grass (texture not mesh) for now.

My Terrain Settings:


In general unity components are not heavy, unity best optimizes them, for example-unity shows nearby grass as original different grass images but it shows distant grass as one single image only to reduce load on your system. Instead of it you can use your own sprites(images) for showing grass.Happy Gaming :slight_smile:
