Why won't Lerpz open doors?

I just finished the tutorial for Lerpz (3D Platform Game). However, Lerpz won’t open doors that would give him access to the jail or areas where I have placed the laser trap components. Isn’t Lerpz supposed to be able to do this? Or is this in another tutorial?

Lerpz can’t open these doors. The Jail is a model imported and you can’t interact with it. If you want to do stuff like that you have to work on a model having a movable door and animate.
