Wich Unity choose for 2D game development?

im developing a 2D game in Unity 4.6+… can I upgrade for unity 5 without crash my project? its better than the old version? thanks

Download it and see. (Make a backup of your project first, which you need to be doing anyway.)

My projects have ported fine so far. But make a backup, just in case.
